At Syakah, we understand that progress isn’t made overnight. Founded in South Africa (Cape Town), our mission started with a simple truth... It is an absolute nightmare to try and get Muay Thai and Kick Boxing gear or material to South Africa...
Lot of famous brands like Twins, Yokkao, Primo, Fairtex are either available only via import (and you'll pay a fortune in shipping fees and Custom Duty) or via big retailers platforms (which leads often to fake or low quality items)...
What are we trying to achieve?
We've decided to fill the gap ourselves for certain products (Gel Pads, Skipping Ropes, etc.) or to import ourselves certain Brands and make them accessible at a better price.
Our second goal is to push the amateur and professional Muay Thai and Sport's scene by sponsoring and helping young South African athletes. We proudly sponsored the South African Muay Thai Team to the ITMA 2025 games (International Thai Martial Arts Games). Percentage of our sales is going to sponsorship!
